Sheena Wilkie – Coach
I am curious by nature—always asking questions, exploring ideas, and learning alongside others. Teaching has long been one of the ways I give back. Like many, I stand on the shoulders of generous mentors, and I value opportunities to share what I have learned through years of work in photography, communications, and creative practice.
I spent a decade teaching photography and communications at British Columbia Institute of Technology, and later, through my private school Photo Gurus, discovered how meaningful it can be to work with small groups in supportive learning environments. Many of those student relationships continue today.
My current coaching grows out of my own sketchbook and observation-based practice. I work with others who want to slow down, look more closely, and build confidence in drawing, visual storytelling, and responding to everyday subjects.
Future workshops and presentations will continue to develop around observation, sketch journals, and creative practice, and will evolve naturally over time.
